services companies, branches, and individuals licensed by state regulatory agencies
participating in VFSP. It also contains information regarding federal agency-regulated
institutions and their mortgage loan originators who are registered with VFSP.
- Not all state agencies have all license types on VFSP. If the entity you are looking for
cannot be located, check to see if the regulator is on the participant
list.
- Does not include information on applications not yet approved by a state.
- Does not include information on federal registrations until the registration is in an active
status.
- Contains information that is self-reported to regulatory agencies or an individual’s
employing institution by the licensed/registered company or professionals.
- Record information cannot be amended if there are no active licenses or registrations for
the relevant company, branch or individual.
- Is updated nightly (business days only).
